Artist Bio.

Patrick Kerr

Born in Northern Ireland in 1968 I studied in Lurgan (Northern Ireland), Preston (England) and graduated from the University of Central Lancashire in 1992 with a first class honours degree in Fine Art.

I have had various exhibition experiences and have been making my own art inspired by both my cultural history and identity and by my surroundings for as long as I can remember. My art in is private collections all over the world, from Qatar to California.

I am influenced by a wide range of artists ranging from Basquiat to Rotella, Burri, Twombly and Banksy. Not forgetting Piero Della Francesca. My work is also influenced heavily by the tradition of Marcel Duchamp, his ready mades and found objects.

I am the head of Art at the International school of Milan where I have been working for the past 12 years. Recently I have been producing art work of my own on a larger scale and would like to exhibit and or sell my work. I have been involved in exhibitions in England and Ireland and am currently working on a project to have my art work exhibited in California. In Milan however finding exhibition space which is not very expensive for the artist can be very difficult.
